Women's Tennis Concludes Brevard Mountain Invitational

Brevard, N.C. - The Georgia Southern Women’s Tennis team concluded the Brevard Mountain Invitational today.
The Lady Eagles were victorious in four of the five finals matches that they played.
"I was really excited about how we competed at the tournament. I am also proud of how my upperclassmen performed. It was a great start to the season," said Coach Bonner.
In the A draw of singles, Kristi Kegerreis (Fairfax, Va.) defeated Jenny Gomez from Gardner-Webb 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.
In the B draw, Christine Caforio (Acworth, Ga.) lost to Liz Sneed from Carson-Newman 6-3, 5-7, 10-5.
Jessica Fuller (Cartersville, Ga.) won her match 6-3, 6-4 in the C draw.
In doubles action, Shea Huxtable (Winter Springs, Fla.) and Molly Maddox (Rome Ga.) defeated Amanda Bartlett and Liz Sneed from Carson-Newman 8-6.
In the B draw of doubles, Fuller and Kegerreis defeated Julian Reyes and Madeleine Billeter from Pfeiffer 8-1.
The Lady Eagles return to the courts at the Thomasville Invitational in Thomasville, Ga. which starts next Friday.
