Women's Soccer Prepares for Conference Opener at Wofford

The Lady Eagles wrapped up non-conference play on Sunday, with a 2-3-2 record.

Toussaint leads the Lady Eagles in goals scored (5), points (12) and shots on goals (17).

Georgia Southern and Wofford have faced off a total of 14 times and the series is a close one, with Wofford leading the all-time series 7-6-1. The Lady Eagles won last season's match 2-1 on October the 25th.
Wofford comes into Friday's matchup with a 1-4-3 record.
The Terriers took on VCU in their most recent match and lost 5-1. Their lone victory of the season came in double overtime against Presbyterian (Sept. 12th). Wofford beat the Blue Hose 2-1.

Monica Ploetzke leads the team in assists with two.
