Women's Tennis Finishes Strong Despite Slow Start at Thomasville Invitational

The Lady Eagles started out very slow as every player lost their first match of the day but all four players went on to win their second matches.

Junior Kristi Kegerreis (Fairfax, Va.) lost her first match to Kiara Powell of Georgia State (4-6 4-6) and won her second match against Alexis Brown of Florida A&M (6-1 6-1)
Senior Molly Maddox (
“After a tough first round I was glad to see everyone come a win in the second round,” Said Coach Bonner.
The Lady Eagles will face off one another in singles play starting at 11:30am as Beavers faces Kegerreis and Rolle faces Maddox to start day two and end the day with two rounds of doubles play.
