Eagles in Fourth at the CCSA Championships

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. ? The Georgia Southern swimming & diving team currently sits in fourth place after two days at the first-ever Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association Championships (CCSA).
The Eagles have earned 300 total points, while Davidson College is in first place having earned 444 points.
Georgia Southern's 200-yard medley relay team comprised of Lindsay Goodman (Knoxville, Tenn.), Ashley White (Charlotte, N.C.), Kristen Haudenschild (Woodbridge, Va.) and Courtney Martz (Woodbine, Ga.) finished in third place.
Goodman finished fifth in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:37.68, while sophomore Mackenzie Garrot (Fayetteville, Ga.) placed third in the 100 breaststroke earning a time of 1:06.55. White earned a fifth place finish in the 100 breast racing to a time of 1:07.23.
Martz raced to a fifth place finish in the 100 backstroke event with a time of 59.40.
The CCSA Championships will resume tomorrow at 10 a.m.
