Women?s Basketball Remains Undefeated in SoCon Play after Defeating Elon 67-58

ELON, N.C. - Georgia Southern (6-2, 2-0) knocks off Elon (1-7, 0-2) 67-58 Saturday afternoon in Alumni Gym in Elon, N.C. and remains undefeated in Southern Conference play.
“Win on the road which is major. We didn't play our best basketball, but our bench stepped up and helped us win the game,” said head coach Rusty Cram.
Four players scored in double-figures for the Lady Eagles.

Elon managed to pull the lead back under ten points with less than two minutes remaining after Aiesha Harper nailed a layup, but Georgia Southern held onto the lead and won 67-58.
Tiffany Davis scored a team high 15 points and was seven of 10 from the free throw line. Elon went to the charity stripe 33 times in the game.
Amber Wall pulled down a game high 13 rebounds and helped the Phoenix outrebound the Lady Eagles 42-34.
