The Wofford Terriers are 5-9-0 (1-3-0) on the season and are currently in a three-way tie for last place in the SoCon. The Eagles will face Wofford on Saturday at 6 p.m. in
The Terriers boast the reigning SoCon player of the week in Thomas Hunter. Hunter made only his second start of the season at goalkeeper and earned a 1-0 shutout against Furman. He also made eight saves in the match.
Wofford takes a large amount of shots ranking third in the conference, but they don't have much to show for it. They are next to last in points, goals and assists in the SoCon.
The Terriers' defense is solid and boasts the third lowest goals against average in the conference. They are only allowing on average 1.25 goals per match.
The Mercer Bears are 1-8-5 (1-3-3) on the season and rank seventh in their conference standings.
