Women?s Tennis Heads to the ITA Southeast Regional in Athens, Ga.

STATESBORO, Ga. ? The Georgia Southern women's tennis team is heading to Athens, Ga. to participate in the ITA Southeast Regional.

Kristi Kegerreis (Fairfax, Va.) and Ali Beavers (Kingsport, Tenn.) are coming off strong performances in the UNF Invitational and will be Georgia Southern's participants in the ITA Southeast Regional.

“I am looking forward to a competitive weekend in Athens,” said head coach Amy Bonner. “This is a very strong tournament featuring teams from the South Region. I know Ali and Kristi are looking forward to facing some tough opponents this weekend and want to continue with the momentum they have built up over the past few tournaments.”

The Lady Eagles will stay in the state of Georgia for the next tournament and will head to Savannah, Ga. for the Landings Club Invitational.
