“Gardner-Webb is a good team, and I was excited to get the win,” said Head Coach Kevin Kennedy. “They are atop of the Big South right now, and we had a great result against them.”

“Our seniors stepped up and played well for us today. Three of our goals came from seniors,” said coach Kennedy.
The Eagles got on the board early in only the fifth minute of play. Senior Jon Kinsler (
Gardner-Webb tied the match when Richard Gray scored on a breakaway shot opportunity in the 32nd minute. The goal was set up by a Ryan Snodgrass pass.
Reine gave the Eagles a 2-1 lead before the half. Joe Madigan (Centennial,
Madigan finished the day with a shot on goal and an assist.

The Eagles improved to 4-7-0 (1-3-0), while Gardner-Webb falls to 3-7-0 (2-1-0).
