STATESBORO, Ga. ? The Georgia Southern swimming & diving team continued its hot streak by extending their dual meet winning streak to nine on Saturday, as the Eagles edged Florida Gulf Coast and dominated Campbell at the Aquatics Center at the Recreation Activities Center (RAC).
Freshman Ali Campbell (Alberta, Campbell) set the school record in the 1650 free event with a time of 17:40.75. It was the first school record broken this season for the Eagles.

"Our goal for this meet was to execute on the little things we've been working on, said coach Nathan Kellogg. “It's the little things like turn, breakouts, and finishes that add up and can make a big difference. Our divers did really well against some tough competition. We're very proud of our team's ability to race and have fun, no matter what event we're competing in."
Sophomore Courtney Martz (Woodbine, Ga.) was a triple-event winner for the third consecutive meet. Last week's CCSA Swimmer of the Week recipient earned victories as a member of the 200 medley and free relays and notched a win in the 100 backstroke event.
The Eagles had two swimmers' that were double-event winners on the afternoon. Senior Jennifer Clayton (Marietta, Ga.) earned victories as a member of the 200 medley and free relays, while sophomore Mackenzie Garrot (Fayetteville, Ga.) was successful in the 100 and 200 breaststroke events.
Additionally, freshman Lindsay Goodman (Knoxville, Tenn.) and sophomore Ashley White (Charlotte, N.C.) were both a part of the 200 medley squad, which placed first.
