The Lady Eagles (2-5, 0-1 SoCon) look to bounce back after a three-game skid, narrowly falling in the Southern Conference opener to the Wildcats, 62-56, in a recent clash at Davidson, N.C. (Nov. 29). Junior guard Ashley Melson (
USC Upstate enters Saturday's match-up with a 2-4 record after recently suffering a 92-54 loss to North Carolina A&T on the road (Nov. 28).

USC Spartanburg is paced by Courtney Hawkins with 14.2 points and 2.2 steals per game, followed by Oceana Jackson with 12.8 points.
Head coach Rusty Cram is in his 12th year at the helm with a 169-156 overall and school record. USC Upstate's Tammy George is in her third year leading the Spartans and fifth year overall. She claims a 29-35 school record and an overall 72-56 slate.
