An outstanding baseball and basketball player for the Eagles from 1951-53. Went on to a six-year professional baseball career in the Cleveland Indians farm system. Born November 3, 1926 in Blackshear, Georgia. Was recently voted a member of the All Time/ All-Star Team, the Cordele (Georgia) professional baseball team. A major contributor to the renovation of the Roost. Have served on Lettermen's Club boards of directors for the past 10 years, including a stint as president. Voted GSU Alumnus of the Year in 1980 and outstanding Lettermen in Business in 1979. Served on the Foundation of Boards of Directors.
