Together with Raegan McCurry Ferguson, formed the most outstanding doubles in history of Georgia Southern women's tennis... Each was four-year letterwinner, 1980-83, earning bachelor's degrees in business administration... Together they advanced to three AIAW Division II National Championship during career, winning at No. 3 in 1982... Rallied for a 6-7 (11-13) 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 win over a team from Richmond in the final... Finished junior season All-American after leading team to state and regional titles... Fountain Tootle was GAIAW titleist in her flight three times (freshman, sophomore, junior) and won the region championship twice (freshman, junior)... She finished the 1982 season fifth nationally in singles with a 19-5 record... McCurry-Ferguson reached the state finals at No. 4 singles as a junior compiling a 20-7 record... She also finished fifth at the national tournament.
