Men’s Golf, 1970-73... First Team All-America in 1973... Led the Eagles to consecutive appearances in the NCAA National Championship in 1972 (14th place finish) and 1973 (13th)... Won four collegiate events, including the 1973 Schenkel Invitational when he shot an 8-under 208... One of the top collegiate golfers in the country during his senior year... Member of the 1973 U.S. Walker Cup Team, then following that performance turned down an invitation to play in The Master’s as an amateur... Played on the PGA Champions Tour at the time of his death in September 2004.
