Prep: Lettered three years for Wendy Mabon at McIntosh High School • Named all-state in 2016 after recording 166 kills and 33 blocks • Posted 411 career kills, 203 digs and 50.5 blocks • Named all-area in 2014 • The Chiefs were the 2016 area champions and state runner-up • Played for A-5 South club under head coach Joe Whiggam • Made A-3 High Performance program in 2014 and A-2 High Performance program in 2015.
Personal: Born Shelby Brianne Doyal April 26, 1999, in Peachtree City, Ga. • The daughter of Robert and Tracy Doyal • Has two siblings, Jessie and Owen • Mother played volleyball at Chattanooga.
Major: Intends to major in biology.
