Sun Belt Setter of the Week in 2021

Junior (2022): Redshirted the season because of an injury.

Sophomore (2021): Played 50 sets in 14 matches and finished with 435 assists, 74 digs, 28 kills, 23 blocks and 19 aces • Missed the final 10 matches with an injury •  Reached 40-plus assists in four matches • Had one double-double – 37 assists and 10 digs vs. Coastal Carolina (10/1) • Had a season-high 54 assists to go along with three kills, two aces, a dig and a block at Louisiana (9/25) • Posted 54 assists, six digs, four kills, two blocks and two aces at Georgia State (10/7) • Followed that with 49 assists, nine digs, two kills and two aces against the Panthers (10/9).

Freshman (2020): Joined the Eagles after the fall semester and started all three matches in the spring • Tallied season highs of 28 assists, eight kills, eight digs and two blocks vs. Jacksonville (2/2).

Before Georgia Southern: Spent the fall semester of 2020 at West Virginia before electing to transfer • Lettered four seasons for coach Erin Reilly at Johnstown-Monroe High School and tallied 268 kills, 276 digs, 70 aces and 67 assists as a senior • Three-time all-conference and three-time all-district selection and was named All-Ohio Honorable Mention • Played club volleyball for the Elite Volleyball Training Center in Plain City, Ohio.

Personal: Born Grace Marie Slader May 22, 2001, in Columbus, Ohio • The daughter of Bill and Sharon Slader • Has two older sisters, Claire and Stephanie.
