David Beck joins the Eagle coaching staff for his first season. He comes to Statesboro from Arizona, where he coached for the Arizona Sky Club program.
He served as an assistant coach for the Arizona Sky 18's and helped lead the team to its first nationals appearance in 2015-2016. He also served as an assistant coach for the Arizona Sky 14's.
Beck played collegiately at Grand Canyon University from 2012-2014 and was named to the MIVA All-Academic Team. The native of Havre de Grace, Maryland lettered four seasons at Havre de Grace High School (2008-2012) and was named Male Athlete of the Year as a junior and senior. He graduated as the school's career record holder in kills and played for the Yorktowne Volleyball Club from 2008-2011.
Beck graduated Magna Cum Laude from Grand Canyon University in 2016 with a degree in sports management.
