Kaitlyn Meyers

Kaitlyn Meyers joined the Georgia Southern Sports Medicine staff in September of 2020. She currently oversees the day to day medical care of the men’s soccer and women’s tennis programs. She also serves as the billing and insurance coordinator for the Sports Medicine Department. Previously, Meyers spent four years serving as the athletic trainer for the women’s soccer program.

Prior to joining Georgia Southern, Meyers worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Georgia State University for two years. While completing her Master’s degree in Sport Administration, Meyers worked with both the Georgia State football and women’s soccer programs. Meyers earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Wingate University in 2018.

A native of Long Island, New York, Kaitlyn is a licensed athletic trainer in the state of Georgia and an active member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. She holds certifications in CPR, AED, and oxygen administration as well as Level I Dry Needling, Blood Flow Restriction Therapy and IASTM.
