Avram Allen begins his first season working with Georgia Southern women's soccer as an assitant coach for the 2026 season.
Allen comes to Statesboro after serving as the head coach of NCAA Division II Young Harris College for the last four seasons. Allen led the Mountain Lions to a 33-29-10 overall record over those four seasons and in the Fall of 2025, directed YHC to an 11-6-3 record, including an 8-2-3 mark in Conference Carolinas, advancing to the tournament semifinals.
Prior to Young Harris, Allen served as the head coach of Athletico Lanier of the NPSL in 2021, and also served as an assistant coach of the University of North Georgia's men's soccer program for seven seasons.
Allen played collegiately at both YHC (2005-06) and North Georgia (2007-08), earning All-Tournament honors for both the Mountain Lions and the Nighthawks, as well as All-Region honors for Young Harris. He graduated from North Georgia with his bachelor's degree in physical education/health in 2010 and also completed his master's degree in arts and teaching from UNG in 2015. He holds a USSF "B" license as well as a United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma.
Avram is married to Hannah Allen and the couple have two children, Londyn and Liam.
