His exceptional performances also earned him a place as a four-time NCAA Division II qualifier and participant. Notably, Coach Weesner ranked in the top 16 on the 1-meter board in 2017, 2018, and 2019, and achieved top 16 finishes on the 3-meter board in 2017 and 2018, with a top 8 finish in 2019. Although the 2020 NCAA Championships was canceled due to the pandemic, he placed 5th in the 3-meter event at the pre-qualification meet.
Following his collegiate career, Coach Weesner transitioned into coaching, taking on the role of Diving Coach at Atascocita High School in Humble, Texas. During his two-year tenure at AHS, he guided his divers to notable achievements, including four state qualifiers and three state finalists at the Texas 6A State Meet. Among these, two divers finished in the top 16, while one achieved a top 8 placement. Additionally, his coaching efforts helped one diver earn NFHS Swim and Dive School All-American honors and supported two divers in continuing their careers at the NCAA Division I level.
