2014-15: Was on the track squad at Albany State in the fall … Transferred to the University of Arkansas, competing on the track and field team, in the spring. 

2013-14: Was on the football and track teams at Albany State … Named first-team All-SIAC in the high jump … Placed second at the conference meet. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Participated in the high jump for Coach Steven Ruzic at Veterans High … Won the state title, tying for the second-highest jump in the nation at 7'2.5".

PERSONAL: Born Malik L. Broughton on February 24, 1995 in Watertown, New York … Son of Barbara Broughton and Luther Broughton … Has two siblings, Cortez and Khalil.
