Biography
Freshman (2015-16): Played in 15 games as a freshman, averaging 4.5 minutes per game off the bench for the Eagles • Logged a season-high 11 minutes at Little Rock (1/28/16) where she also corralled in a season-high four rebounds • Scored two points in contests on the road at Georgia (11/24/15) and UT Arlington (1/2/16) as well as at home against UL Lafayette (1/14/16) • Had a career-high three assists against Troy on 1/9/16.
Prep: A four-year letterwinner at Bulloch Academy • Was named All-Region and All-State four times (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015) • Finished prep career with 1,000 career points after averaging 16.4 points, 7.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game • Her 2014 and 2015 teams won the Georgia State Championship for their level • Played club ball for the Statesboro Swarm and head coach Beth Burke • Was also a four-time All-Region honoreer for cross country (2012-2015) and three-time All-State runner (2012, 2014, 2015) • Also played softball, soccer and ran track and was All-Region and All-State in softball and track all four years and twice earned All-Region nods in soccer (2014, 2015) • In 2013, was a member of the track team that won the state meet • Academically, named to the Head Master’s list all four years and was named to the Sports/Academic Honor Roll all four years.
Personal: Born August 15, 1997 • The daughter of Bryan and Beth Burke • Has two siblings, Taylor and Haley • Six family members attended Georgia Southern including mother, dad, brother and sister • Dad was a pitcher for South Georgia College; mom ran cross country for Georgia Southern; brother, Taylor, was a pitcher for Georgia Southern from 2011-12; grandfather, Albert, was a pitcher on the baseball team for Georgia Teachers College (now Georgia Southern); uncle, Blake, was a catcher for the Georgia Tech baseball team.
