Biography

2017-18: Played in all 12 games, starting eight games … Was on the field for 456 snaps (334 offensive, 122 special teams) … Recorded 17 catches for 120 yards and a score on the season … Had 24 rushing yards on the season, 17 yards coming against South Alabama … Had a big game against New Mexico State, earning 41 receiving yards (long of 28 yards) … Ran season-high 192 total kick return yards against UMass (long of 47 yards) … Had 43 punt return yards against UMass …Caught a touchdown against Georgia State.

2016-17: Played in all 12 games, starting four … Was second on the team with 31 receptions … Had 384 yards receiving and a team-high four touchdowns … Was on the field for 696 snaps (605 offensive, 91 special teams) … Had touchdown receptions against Western Michigan, Arkansas State, Ole Miss and Louisiana … Had a big game against Arkansas State, catching six passes for 98 yards and a score, which came on a 63-yard catch and run … Caught four passes for a career-high 121 yards and a score at Ole Miss … Had 10 kick returns for 207 yards, with a long of 38  … Made the Eagle Honor Roll in the spring.

2015-16: Started 10 games, including each of the final nine contests … Played in all 13 games … Was in for 330 offensive snaps and 127 on special teams … Had eight receptions for 130 yards on the season … Also had 20 yards rushing and six tackles on special teams … Caught two passes for 37 yards, including a 21-yarder against The Citadel … Also had three solo tackles on special teams in that game … Recorded one reception for 11 yards and had a tackle against ULM … Had a catch for 12 yards against New Mexico State … Recorded two receptions for 46 yards against Appalachian State … Had one carry for 20 yards in the win over Troy … Had one reception against Georgia (17 yds) and South Alabama (7 yds) … Had a tackle on special teams in the Eagles’ win over Bowling Green in the GoDaddy Bowl … Made the school’s honor roll for his academic work in the fall and made the Dean’s List in the spring … Named to the 2015-16 Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll for maintaining a 3.00-3.49 GPA.

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time Gwinnett County Specialist of the Year and was selected all-state specialist second team as a junior with two punt returns for touchdowns … Replicated that feat as a senior with two punt return touchdowns … As a senior, amassed 989 all-purpose yards … Posted back-to-back seasons with 1,000 or more all-purpose yards as a sophomore (1,000) and junior (1,500) … Pulled in 51 receptions and racked up 15 touchdowns as a junior … Scored six total touchdowns and had 33 receptions as the team’s top receiver in his final season … Finished his career with six touchdowns off return efforts, five on punt returns, one on a kickoff … Named team MVP as a junior … A three-sport letterwinner with nine letters earned total (four in track and field, three in football and two in basketball) … Competed in the sprints and long jump for the Wildcats … Captained the football team for two years … Member of the A/B Honor Roll all four years.
