Responsibilities: Adams oversees the Athletic Marketing Department at Georgia Southern as the Associate Athletics Director for Marketing & Fan Experience. He oversees promotions, fan experience, game-day production, advertising, and digital marketing efforts for GS Athletics and all athletics events. Adams is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing plans for all 17 Division I sports at Georgia Southern. He is the primary marketing contact for football and men’s basketball. Adams coordinates all aspects of game-day production, in-game entertainment, promotions and operations for all sports. He also works closely with the external arm of athletics including ticketing, media relations, creative services, GSSP, and the Athletic Foundation to grow the brand of Georgia Southern University Athletics. Prior to Georgia Southern: Adams spent five years at Liberty University as a volunteer, student worker and graduate assistant. He oversaw marketing and promotions for volleyball, women’s lacrosse and the Flames Kids Club. He assisted with football and men’s basketball. His involvement at Liberty University helped break the total football attendance record with over 100K fans and grow the Flames Kids Club by over 40 percent.

Of Note: New experiences, promotions, and in-game content have been upgraded recently during Adams’ tenure. Football games have seen the return of sliding down the grass hills newly dubbed the "Domino's Dash," the addition of the My First Game Experience for all new patrons to Paulson Stadium, and the Hero of the Game presentation honoring a military member at each home game. Baseball games have opened up featuring more entertaining in-game promotions and content. Georgia Southern has seen growth in multiple areas including attendance, revenue, fan experience, videoboards, and staff. The sports of football, women’s basketball, baseball, volleyball, men’s soccer, and women’s soccer have all set new single-game attendance records. Adams has also had the opportunity to oversee several special events such as the Women's Football Clinic, Little Eagles Football Clinic, True Blue BBQ Competition, and many activities surrounding annual fan fests and the Blue vs. White Spring Football Game. He also oversaw the implementation of content on brand new videoboards installed at Paulson Stadium, Hanner Fieldhouse, J.I. Clements Stadium, and Eagle Softball Field. Several graduate assistants that have come through the athletic marketing department have also found success upon graduation by earning full-time positions with collegiate athletic marketing departments at Utah, Virginia Tech, Mississippi State, and Cincinnati. Full-time staff from the marketing department have also found success advancing their careers at the University of Oregon.
Personal: Adams and his wife, Jenna, are foster parents and have been married since May 2016.
