HIGH SCHOOL: First-team all-state pick by the Oklahoma Coaches Association … Named District 6A-3 Offensive Lineman of the Year … Qualified for VYPE Mr. Football Honors … Two-year starter at offensive tackle … Graded out at 97 percent as a senior … Credited for 27 pancakes and allowed only one sack all season … Team totaled more than 2,500 yards passing and 2,500 yards rushing, averaging 37 points per game … Played defensive tackle as a freshman and was selected all-conference … Racked up 72 tackles … Team captain as a senior … Was on the track & field team, qualifying for the state meet in shot put and discus.
