2015-16: Played in 11 games, starting four … Earned the starting nod in the final three games … Started against New Mexico State, South Alabama, Georgia State and Bowling Green at the right guard position … Was on the field for 310 offensive snaps and 55 special teams plays … Played 69 snaps in the win over New Mexico State … Was in for 63 snaps against South Alabama … Started in the GoDaddy Bowl for the win over Bowling Green as the Eagles scored eight touchdowns … A big part of the nation’s leading rushing offense.
2014-15: Redshirted … Graduated early from high school and joined the Eagles in January 2014.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterman helped lead Norcross to back-to-back state championships with a 13-2 overall record and 7-1 mark in 2013 and perfect 15-0 record in 2012 … The Blue Devils ran off 12 straight wins and advanced to the championship game, then scoring 31 unanswered points for the win … Honored as the Offensive Player of the Year for the offensive line … Started in the last 30 games for the Blue Devils on the offensive line and led the team in pancake blocks (42) and grade percentage … Named the offensive player of the week six times … First-team all-state selection by the Georgia Sportswriters Association and placed on the All-Region 7 first team by the state’s coaches.
