2018-19: Played in 12 games, starting 11 … A third-team All-Sun Belt selection from the conference and Phil Steele … Was on the field for 523 total plays (498 defensive, 25 special teams) … Tallied 31 total tackles, including6.5 for loss and a team-high five sacks … Also had a forced fumble … Had three tackles against Clemson … Was named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against Arkansas State … Posted nine tackles, including 3.5 for loss and three sacks, in that game … Had a sack at Texas State, against Troy and at Georgia State … Posted five tackles at ULM.


2017-18: Played in all 12 games, starting 11 of them … A second-team All-Sun Belt selection … Was on the field for a total of 714 snaps (661 defensive, 53 special teams) … Led the Eagles with 11.0 tackles for loss and 5.0 sacks … Tallied 32 tackles on the season … Had four tackles (3u, 1a), including a tackle for a loss of 2 yards, and 3 quarterback hurries against Auburn … Had four unassisted tackles, including 3.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks against New Hampshire … Recorded a sack against both New Mexico State and Georgia State … Also had seven tackles (3u, 4a), including one for a loss of 3 yards against Georgia State … Had half a sack against both Louisiana and Coastal Carolina.


2016-17: Played in all 12 games for the Eagles, starting 11 … Was in for 738 snaps during the season (593 defensive, 145 special teams) … Recorded 34 tackles (24u, 10a) with 3.0 of them being for a loss … Recovered a fumble in games against Savannah State and Arkansas State … Had a season-high six tackles against South Alabama … Had five tackles against Arkansas State … Suffered an injury at the beginning of spring practice which required surgery.


2015-16: A true freshman who played in all 13 games of the season, starting in eight of them … Started the final six games of the season … Saw action on 342 defensive snaps and 51 on special teams … Recorded 30 tackles on the season (14u, 16a) … Also had a forced fumble … Rushed for 2 yards against Western Michigan on a fake punt attempt … Recorded five tackles three times, against The Citadel, Georgia State and in the GoDaddy Bowl against Bowling Green … Forced a fumble against The Citadel … Registered three assisted tackles against Western Michigan … Had two solo tackles against both New Mexico State and Appalachian State … Recorded four tackles against South Alabama … Fourteen of his 30 stops for the season came in the final three games … Made the school’s Honor Roll for his in both the fall and spring … Named to the 2015-16 Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll for maintaining a 3.00-3.49 GPA.


HIGH SCHOOL: Tallied 17 sacks over his career at Washington County High School … Recorded 75 tackles as a senior, and 60 as a junior with 26 total tackles for loss … Three-time All-Region 3-3A selection and twice named all-state and all-region … Played in 2014 Georgia-South Carolina Border War Game … Also lettered in basketball and weight lifting … Won a state championship on the basketball court … Graduated with honors, member of Foreign Language Honor Society.


PERSONAL: Born Logan Chayse Hunt on April 2 in Augusta, GA … Son of L.C. and Rita Hurst … Has three siblings.
