2017-18: Played in six games, getting his first career start against UMass … Was on the field for 102 offensive snaps … Played 48 snaps against New Hampshire and 28 against UMass … Made the President’s List in the fall and spring for a perfect 4.0 GPA for the year.


2016-17: Played in one game … Was in for 21 snaps, recording five knockdowns, against Savannah State … Made the Dean’s List in both the fall and spring semesters … Named to the Sun Belt Conference’s Commissioner’s List for maintaining a 3.5 or higher GPA for the year.


2015-16: Dressed for every home game, but did not play … A valuable member of the offensive scout team at the guard position … Made the school’s Honor Roll for his academic work in both the fall and in the spring … Named to the 2015-16 Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll for maintaining a 3.00-3.49 GPA.


2014-15: Redshirted … Member of the Honor Roll in the spring.


HIGH SCHOOL: Named First-Team All-Region 2-3A on offense and defense at Henry County High School in McDonough, GA … Also lettered in golf and wrestling … Finished sixth at the state wrestling tournament.


PERSONAL: Born Drake Thomas Grall on August 31 … Son of Tina and John Grall … Has four siblings: Ike, Ross, Lili Grall and Jason McDonald … Brother, Ross, played football at Appalachian State.
