2022-23: Played in all 13 games, starting one … Was on the field for 235 total snaps (86 defense, 149 special teams) … Had 14 tackles, including half a stop for loss, two pass break ups and a forced fumble … Had a tackle in the opener against Morgan State … Had a tackle in the win at Nebraska … Had a stop at UAB … Also had a tackle against Ball State … Played six snaps on special teams against Coastal Carolina and seven at Georgia State … Had a pass breakup in the win over No. 25 James Madison … Had a tackle in the win at Old Dominion and against South Alabama … Played 19 snaps on special teams at Louisiana and 12 against Marshall … Played 21 snaps on special teams in the overtime win over App State … Made his first career start in the Camellia Bowl against Buffalo … Responded with eight tackles, a forced fumble and a pass break up.

2021-22: Played in the final four games … Played 98 total snaps (five on defense, 93 on special teams) … Had two tackles on the season … Had a tackle on special teams in the opener against Gardner-Webb … Played six snaps on special teams at Florida Atlantic and eight at Arkansas … Was on the field for five specials teams plays against Louisiana …  Had a pass break-up against Arkansas State … Played six special teams plays at Troy and eight at South Alabama … Was on the field for seven special teams snaps against Georgia State and six against Coastal Carolina … Was in for 17 special teams snaps in the win at Texas State … Had a tackle on special teams against BYU … Played eight snaps on special teams at App State … Made the Honor Roll in the fall for posting above a 3.00 GPA … Made the Dean’s List in the spring for posting a GPA higher than 3.50 … Named to the 2021-22 Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll for maintaining a 3.00-3.49 GPA.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played football for Coach Ben Hall at Flowery Branch High … Named first-team all-region three times … Named all-state as a junior … Had 60 tackles and seven interceptions as a senior … Also played basketball and ran track.

PERSONAL: Born Chezley Chase Dial-Watson on January 30 in Gainesville, GA … Son of Tabitha Hale and Chezley Watson … Father played basketball at the University of Virginia … Has four brothers: twin Chandler Dial-Watson, a member of the Eagle football team, Cooper Hale, Cannon Hale, Brayden Watson, and a sister, Ava Watson.
