HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Coach Brian Nelson at Mary Person High … A first-team all-region selection as a senior … Named GACA All State for AAA Region 1-4 as a senior after posting 48 tackles … A second-team all-region selection as a junior and an honorable mention all-region selection as a sophomore … Posted 40 tackles, including 4.0 for loss and a sack, as a junior … Also ran track, placing seventh in the state in the 4x100 relay.
