Senior (2021-22)  – XC: Competed in all six events • Ran a personal best and finished ninth at the GATA XC Classic (21:27.5) • Ran a personal best for a 6K at NCAA Regionals (25:23.9). Indoor: Ran a personal best in the 3000 at the Brant Tolsma Invite (11:27.95) • Ran a personal best in the mile at the Bulldog Open (5:38.21). Outdoor: Ran a personal best in the 1500 at the GATA Classic (5:12.24) • Won the 5000 at the Alice Coachman Invitational with a personal best time of 19:57.11  • Took second in the 5000 and third in the 1500 at the GS Spring Classic.

Junior (2020-21)  – XC: Ran in one meet – the GATA XC Classic – and finished 10th (24:17.5). Outdoor: Competed in three meets and ran a personal best in the 5000 (20:50.04) at the Georgia Tech Invitational.

2019-2020 (SOPHOMORE): Indoor: Competed in four meets in the 3000m and 5000m events...Best finish came at the Gamecock Opener where she placed 18th in the 5000m...Set a PR in the 5000m at the Carolina Challenge with a time of 21:46.41...Set a PR in the 3000m at the Samford Invite with a time of 12:32.10 Outdoor: Season canceled due to COVID-19.

2018-19 (FRESHMAN): Indoor: Did not compete. Outdoor: Competed in three meets in the 5000m and the 3000m….Placed eight in the 3000m at the Savannah State Twilight meet with a time of 12:15.91…Best finish came at the Georgia Southern Invite where she took seventh in the 5000m with a time of 21:07.76.

High School: Attended North Paulding High School, sharing in school records in 4x800m, 4x1600m, and DMR relays… Cross Country Team Captain in 2017-18… High School PRs: 1600m (5:42), 800m (2:34), 5K (21:07), 3200m (12:48)… Graduated with honors.

Personal: Full name is Isabel Maria Clayton… Daughter of Veronica and Nate… Has a sister, Natalie, who attended Georgia Southern, and a brother (Andrew).

Major: International Studies
