Senior (2015): Finished career ranked seventh in the Georgia Southern record book in career blocks (322), sixth in block assists (254) and eighth in solo blocks (68) • Started all 29 matches and played in 106 sets • Averaged 1.27 kills and 0.92 blocks per set while hitting .221 • Had a season-high six blocks vs. Bethune-Cookman, Winthrop and at UL Lafayette (10/16) • Posted a season-high nine kills vs. Florida Gulf Coast and South Alabama (9/26) • Had five kills in six swings and added two blocks at Georgia.
Junior (2014): Played in the first three matches before an injury sidelined her for the rest of the season • Received a medical redshirt • Collected 12 kills and nine blocks.
Sophomore (2013): Ranked second in the SoCon and led the Eagles in blocks (1.23/set) and was eighth in the league in hitting percentage (.305) • Played in 34 matches and started 30 • Saw action in 113 sets • Her 139 blocks rank fifth on the Georgia Southern single-season charts • Averaged 1.43 kills a set and hit .304, third best on the team • Had nine kills and a season-high 10 blocks vs. Oral Roberts • Notched a season-high 11 kills to go along with eight blocks vs. Elon (9/27).
Freshman (2012): Led the SoCon in blocks with 1.06 per set • Started 19 of the 21 matches she played in and saw action in 72 sets • Hit .307 with 112 kills and finished with 76 blocks, including 11 solo • Posted nine kills and eight blocks at Appalachian State (10/6) • Tallied nine kills and eight blocks at College of Charleston (10/26) • Recorded a season-high 10 kills vs. Western Carolina (11/3) • Had nine kills and five blocks against Furman in the SoCon Tournament semifinals (11/18); hit .692 in the match.
Prep: Three-year letterwinner for Nikki Chester at Athens Academy • Three-time first-team all-region selection • Team captain as a senior • Led the Spartans to a state finals appearance as a junior, and Athens Academy went to the final four in her sophomore season and the elite eight in her senior campaign.
Personal: Born Crysten Cornita Curry Aug. 8, 1994, in Augusta, Ga. • The daughter of Michael and Katrina Curry • Father is a Georgia Southern graduate, former basketball lettermen for the Eagles and member of the school’s athletics Hall of Fame • He ranks 30th on the school's career scoring list with 1,121 points and earned first-team All-TAAC honors in 1990 • He played 12 seasons in the NBA and is currently the head men’s basketball coach at Florida Atlantic • Mother played volleyball, basketball and softball at Paine College • Has two brothers, Michael and Deon • Michael played basketball at Morehouse College, and Deon played football at Michigan State.
