2014 Sun Belt Commissioner’s List

Freshman (2014): Played in 24 matches and made two starts • Had 13 kills, 18 aces, 56 digs and four blocks • Tallied five kills and a season-high 10 digs at Georgia State (10/8) • Had four kills, five digs and four aces vs. Savannah State • Named to Sun Belt Commissioner’s List.

Prep: A two-year all-area selection under coach Lauren Hines at Carlton J. Kell High School • Earned all-county accolades in 2013 after leading her team in kills, digs, blocks and aces • Notched 465 kills, 348 digs, 45 blocks and 66 service aces • Academic Honor Roll and National French Honor Society.

Personal: Born Ashley Nicole Jones Dec. 21, 1995, in Atlanta, Ga. • The daughter of Michelle and George Jones • Has four siblings – Amanda, Anna, Jackson and Jared • Father, George, played offensive tackle at Georgia Southern from 1985-89, and her two sisters, Amanda and Anna, played volleyball at Armstrong Atlantic.

Major: Early childhood education.
