Junior (2012): Named to SoCon All-Academic Team and SoCon Academic Honor Roll • Played in 19 matches and made two starts after injuries forced her to miss the first half of the season • Played in 65 sets and averaged 1.34 digs per set • Had a season-high 11 digs in a home win over Western Carolina (11/3) • Followed that with nine digs in a win over Davidson (11/5) • Posted eight digs against Elon (10/14). 

Sophomore (2011): Named Academic All-SoCon • Named to SoCon Academic Honor Roll • Played in 31 matches, making one start • Second on the squad with 370 digs • Tallied 21 service aces and 37 assists • Notched 29 digs against South Dakota State (8/26) in the second match of her career; added two aces and two assists in the match • Posted 20 or more digs three times and reached double figures in 20 matches • Tallied 24 digs an ace and three assists vs. Georgia State (9/17) • Posted 20 digs, three assists and an ace at College of Charleston (10/1) • Recorded 19 digs and an assist vs. Montana State (8/27) • Had 19 digs, two aces and an assist against Arizona State (9/9) • Collected 18 digs vs. Appalachian State (10/8) and recorded 17 against Wofford (9/22) and Furman (9/24).

Freshman (2010): Named to SoCon Academic Honor Roll • SoCon Freshman of the Week Nov. 1 • Played in all but one match and made eight starts while playing in 128 sets • Recorded 255 digs and 38 service aces • Tallied kills against Savannah State (9/6), Morehead State (9/11), Davidson (10/21), Furman (10/28) and Florida State (12/3) • Started in the SoCon Tournament Championship match against Charleston (11/21) • Played all four sets against Florida State in the NCAA Tournament • Recorded five aces against Miami (9/4) and four aces five times • Posted nine multi-dig matches, including four in a row from Oct. 22-30 • Recorded a season-high 14 digs in three straight matches against Appalachian State (10/24), Furman (10/29) and Wofford (10/30).

Prep: Three-year varsity letterwinner for the Frisco Centennial High School Titans • All-district all-academic all four years • Helped lead the Titans to FISD Tournament Championship in 2008 and 2009 • Titans won District Championship in 2009 • First-team all-district and "Made the Difference" coaches award winner her senior season • Named MVP Frisco ISD Tournament after leading the Titans to the championship • Earned second-team all-district her junior season and named Varsity Newcomer of the Year after her sophomore season.

Personal: Full name is Lauren Michelle LaRocque • Born July 17, 1992, in Amarillo, Texas • Daughter of Shawnda and Phil LaRocque • Hobbies include photography, swimming and anything outdoors (rock climbing, hiking, cycling) • Craziest ambition is to become a National Geographic photographer • Chose Georgia Southern because she loved the campus, coaches and especially the team • Lists her parents as having the biggest influence on her athletic career because "they were willing to let me try any sport I wanted no matter what, or the sacrifices they had to make in order to let me play."

Major: Pre-med biology with a minor in math.
