Biography

REDSHIRT SENIOR (2021): Appeared in 23 games for the Eagles starting one... Collected his first career save against North Florida (4/13)... Worked 29 and 1/3 innings allowing 12 earned runs... He struck out 33 batters and opponents were batting .225 off of the righty... Struck out five batters against Coastal Carolina (4/16)... 

REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2020): Appeared in six games this season all in relief… Posted a 1-0 record in his 6 and 2/3 innings… Allowed four hits and struck out nine batters… Came in relief against No. 3 Georgia at SRP Park and struck out three straight batters with the bases loaded… 

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2019): Appeared in 14 games, all in relief...Went 1-0 on the season...His win came in a tight 13-12 victory over Coastal Carolina where he pitched 2.0 innings with three strikeouts and one walk.   

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2018): Made three appearances with one start… Threw 1.1 innings against Georgia Tech (2/20), leaving the game early due to injury… Returned from injury against Kennesaw State (5/9) and threw three innings of shutout relief to claim his first collegiate win… Finished the year with a 3.89 ERA in 4.2 innings of work and a 1-1 record.

FRESHMAN (2017): Redshirted

PREP: Played four seasons at Bethlehem Christian Academy for coach Matt Nicks... Three-time all-region selection and twice named all-state... Member of the 2015 Georgia Dugout Club Top 100 Team... Twice named Barrow County News All-Region... Posted a 1.26 ERA with 54 strikeouts and a 0.89 WHIP as a senior... Also tossed a no-hitter for the Knights... Hit .457 with 27 RBIs and six home runs as a senior... A three-sport athlete, Parker was a four-year starter in basketball and football, earning all-region honors on the hardwood... Earned the Economics Award in academics at Bethlehem Christian... Played travel ball for Level 5 Performance under coach Jake Crane.

PERSONAL: Born Jacob Tyler Parker on June 4, 1998 in Athens, Georgia... Son of Karen and Jimmy Parker... Has two brothers, Dylan and Eli.
