2017-18: Missed the season due to injury.

2016-17: Played in nine games, starting two … Saw action on a total of 206 snaps (202 offense, 4 special teams) … Recorded his lone catch of the season against ULM, going for 12 yards … Had offseason shoulder surgery and missed spring practice … Made the move to offensive line in the spring.

2015-16: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named Second-Team All-Jacksonville at tight end while playing at The Bolles School … Had 11 catches for 152 yards and three touchdowns … Also lettered in track and weightlifting.

PERSONAL: Born Kevin Michael Ackerman on October 11 in Columbia, MD … Son of Dave and Lisa Ackerman … Has two older siblings, Kelly and Justin … Brother, Justin, played one season of football at Texas State.
