JUNIOR (2012): Great leader on and off the field… Primed to have an all-conference year as an every-down defensive end… Has played in all 43 games in his career and had 11 starts in 2012… Earned third letter… Recorded 5.0 tackles for loss (-15 yards) with two sacks (-9 yards), second among returning defensive linemen behind Javon Mention… Finished the 2012 season with 21 total tackles (15u, 6a)… Credited with quarterback hurry on Elon’s 3rd and 13 pass play that led to Phoenix fumble and Eagle recovery late in fourth quarter to secure the win… Also had tackle for loss and solo tackle for no gain in that game… Pulled down Dolphin running back behind line of scrimmage for tackle for loss and finished the night with three total tackles (2u, 1a)… Made Eagles’ first tackle of the year on Dolphins opening offensive series… Converted fourth-down play for Eagles on offense with 17-yard rush against Jacksonville… Recorded most total tackles of the season with four (3u,1a) including tackle for loss (-4) at The Citadel… Totaled two tackles versus Wofford with a sack (-5 yards)… Credited with quarterback hurry and pass breakup vs. Appalachian State along with one solo tackle… Had an assisted tackle during fourth-quarter defensive stand against Central Arkansas… Sacked Samford quarterback and had another solo tackle against Bulldogs… Representative on the Georgia Southern Athletics’ Student-Athlete Advisory Board and a member of the Eagle Football team’s Leadership Council… Posted grade point averages of 3.08 in fall 2012 and 3.25 in spring 2013.

SOPHOMORE (2011): Played in 13 games with four starts... Totaled 22 tackles with three stops for loss and two sacks on the defensive line... Made starts against Samford (9/3) and Tusculum (9/10) to start the year... Also started against Alabama (11/19) and Old Dominion (12/3)... Posted six tackles and one sack against the Pioneers... Posted six tackles, with five being solo stops, against the Terriers... Blocked an extra point in the fourth quarter of the Old Dominion playoff game.

FRESHMAN (2010): Played in all 15 games and started six games, replacing injured Dion DuBose for the Furman game and four playoff games... also started at Chattanooga... picked up first career sack (10 yards) against Savannah State... registered three solo tackles versus Tigers... three tackles at Navy (1U, 2A)... named to the SoCon All-Freshman team... scored safety for Eagles by tackling Wofford quarterback in the endzone for first GSU points... picked up South Carolina State fumble and ran 34-yards for an Eagle touchdown in playoff win... also had an interception against Bulldogs late in Paulson playoff game to put the Eagle offense back on the field and add a touchdown... had seven games with three total tackles... posted 6.5 tackles for loss, including two during S.C. State playoff game, during freshman campaign.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Kenny Dallas at Landmark Christian Academy... Atlanta Journal-Constitution First-Team All-State selection as senior... Offense-Defense All-American in 2009... Region 5A Defensive Player of the Year... three-time member of Region 5A first team as a sophomore, junior and senior... earned Region 5A honorable mention recognition as a freshman... Georgia Sports Writers Association All-State honorable mention... lettered all four years... named team captain as a senior... also played basketball for three seasons.
