2015 – CoSIDA Academic All-District 4

2015-16: Played in all 13 games, starting six … Was on the field for 319 offensive snaps and 233 special teams plays … Had one catch on the season, but it was for a touchdown … Against The Citadel, recorded a tackle … Also had a fumble recovery on kickoff coverage in that game … Had a solo tackle against both New Mexico State and Appalachian State … Had one reception for a 23-yard touchdown in the win at Troy … Had a big game blocking against Bowling Green in the GoDaddy Bowl, springing several touchdowns with key blocks on the edge … A key member of the nation’s leading rushing offense … Named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 4 Team. 

2014-15: Played eight games with three starts … Made the switch from running back to tight end in the spring of 2014 … Tallied three tackles on special teams … Member of the President’s List for both Fall 2014 and Spring 2015  … Member of the Eagle Honor Roll for 2014-15.

2013-14: Scored two rushing touchdowns in the season opener against Savannah State … Injured in game two and given a medical hardship waiver … Member of the Eagle Honor Roll for 2013-14.

2012-13: Saw action in 10 games on special teams in addition to his contributions on offense in seven contests … One of seven true freshmen to see game action in 2012 … Carried for 95 yards on five attempts against Western Carolina … Scored first career touchdown, a 43-yard touchdown run that capped scoring against the Catamounts … Selected SoCon Freshman of the Week for his performance at Western Carolina … Also voted Southern Pigskin/Steak ‘n’ Shake Freshman of the Week for week of Oct. 8 after WCU game … Credited for one solo tackle vs. Central Arkansas and assisted tackle on kickoff return vs. Howard … Registered four tackles (2u, 2a) at Georgia … Achieved perfect 4.0 grade point averages for both Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 semesters for inclusion on the University’s President’s List.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named first-team all-state by the AJC twice … Selected to the GACA Coaches All-State Class 4A Team … Coastal News Player of the Year and Region 2-4A South Defensive Player of the Year in 2011 … Named all-region and all-area his senior season … Shane’s Rib-Shack Georgia Player of the Year … Selected to Georgia Junior Bowl Team … Received Atlanta Falcons Captain in the Community Award in 2010 … Earned a number of Defensive Player of the Year Awards, including Region 2-4A and Coastal News … Played both sides of the ball … Totaled over 100 tackles his final two seasons … Scored 108 points in 2011 … Carried the ball 116 times for 1,011 yards in 2011 and notched 500 yards in 2010 … Rushed for 254 yards and five scores in a win over South Effingham to propel Glynn Academy to the Class 4A state playoffs … Voted by his teachers as an Outstanding Senior … Also lettered three times in track & field.
