STATESBORO - Andrew Bevill has been named General Manager of the Georgia Southern football program, as announced by head coach
Clay Helton.
"I am truly honored and humbled to step into the role of General Manager at Georgia Southern, and I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to Coach Helton for his trust, leadership and unwavering support," Bevill said. "His guidance and belief in my abilities have been instrumental in my growth. After starting out as a student assistant back in 2016, it has become a full-circle moment. This promotion is a responsibility that I embrace with great enthusiasm and commitment. Georgia Southern is a special place, and I am excited to play a role in its continued success. I look forward to working alongside an incredible team, supporting our student-athletes, and upholding the values and traditions that make this program great. I am excited for the road ahead and ready to give my all to Georgia Southern!"
Bevill previous served as the Director of Player Personnel for the Eagles, role he assumed in early of 2022.Â
A Double Eagle from Georgia Southern University, Bevill has a Bachelors in sport management and a Master's degree in coaching. First joining GS Athletics and the football program as a student in 2016 working in recruitment, film analysis, creative media and game day operations, Bevill was the Special Teams Analyst for the Eagles in 2021 after an intern stint with the University of Louisville under head coach Scott Satterfield.
