PREVIEW: Eagles’ Season Continues at Celebration Pointe Classic

Eagles participate in third meet of indoor season
STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern track and field indoor season continues at the Celebration Pointe Classic inside the Alachua County Sports Complex in Gainesville, Fla.
Both running and field events are scheduled to kick off at 9 a.m. The meet is scheduled to stream on FloTrack.
LAST TIME OUT
A trio of Georgia Southern indoor records were broken as Imani Moore set two new school records (long jump, triple jump) and NaJ Watson set a new indoor 60m record. Kennedy Hood improved her long jump mark for fourth all-time. Leonaya Knox (60H), Emily Wheldon (3000m), and Jayla Lawrence (200m) set new personal bests and improved their times. Knox and Wheldon entered into the top-five all-time records in their respective events.
