Eagles Tabbed as Four Seed in Sun Belt Tournament

The Eagles have the highest seed in the conference tournament since 2018.
New Orleans, La. --- The Georgia Southern men's soccer finished as the number four team in the Sun Belt table after the regular season, and their quarterfinals matchup is set, as announced by the conference office.
The Eagles travel to host site, and winners of the Sun Belt regular season title, Kentucky where they face the fifth-seeded Knights of UCF in the quarterfinal round. The match in Lexington is set for 7 PM ET on Sunday, November 9th. It was the Knights who handed the Eagles their largest loss of the season, 3-0, after UCF scored all three goals within the opening 20 minutes of the contest.
With a win, the Eagles either play top seeded Kentucky or the eight seed Coastal Carolina in the semifinals on Wednesday, November 12th at 7 PM ET also in Lexington. Should the Eagles make it to the championship match, they would have to travel to either (2) West Virginia or (3) Marshall, or have the opportunity to host the finals if (6) Georgia State or (7) Old Dominion make it out of their side of the bracket.
