Statesboro, Ga. --- The Georgia Southern volleyball team recently announced their two signees for the 2026 season in Bella Ekeler and Delaney Wingenbach. In losing three seniors this season, the Eagles look to make a splash with their new recruits coming next Fall.

"We are thrilled to announce 2 quality additions to our roster for the 2026 class in Bella Ekeler and Delaney Wingenbach," said head coach Chad Willis on the signees. "The fact that both are enrolling and joining us this spring speaks volumes to their commitment level and how passionate they are about joining this program. We look forward to getting them both on campus and seeing how they impact our culture on and off the court."

From Coach Willis: "Bella is coming in to help bolster our setting position group, her athleticism and speed enable her to effectively run and manage the offense at an elite level. Bella has a great pedigree, one of the first things that stood out in her recruiting process was her grit and competitive drive. Being a coach's kid, Bella has a great understanding and grasp of being mentally and physically prepared - she has trained and competed at a high level both in high school and club and we're excited to have her as a part of our family."

From Coach Willis: "Delaney is a fiery competitor with a dynamic jump and fast arm who is going to provide great depth to our pin attacking position group. From our first interactions with Delaney, she carries herself with so much confidence and has a great joy about her you can see when she's competing. Since verbally committing, we've been so impressed with Delaney's dedication and commitment to getting better and how she's prepared herself for the next chapter here in Statesboro."

With the regular season behind them, the Eagles have their sights set on a Sun Belt Conference Tournament title as they face South Alabama this upcoming Thursday evening (November 20th) at 8 PM in Foley, Ala.
