Final Open Football Scrimmage Held at Paulson

Eagles begin game prep next week
STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern football team held its final open scrimmage of the 2024 preseason camp Saturday afternoon at Allen E. Paulson Stadium. The offense produced four passing touchdowns and three more on the ground as it now turns its full attention to the Aug. 31 opener against Boise State.
Five quarterbacks saw action, with three getting extended reps with both the 1s and 2s. Overall, the five quarterbacks combined for a completion percentage of 67.9 percent and four scores, coming from Tyler Fromm, Jamarian Samuel, Khai Isaac and Taylor Bradshaw. David Dallas, Jalen White and Bryce Baker all scored on the ground.
Defensively, Jeremiah Holmes had the lone interception of the day while Davon Gilmore, Tracy Hill Jr. and Davion Rhodes had sacks.
The team will now move into game-week mode with two weeks until the opener (8/31; 4 PM' ESPNU).
