Eagles Wrap Up Camp With Spirited Final Full Scrimmage

Team goes to mock game week in preparation for CSU
STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern football team held its final full scrimmage of preseason camp Saturday morning inside Allen E. Paulson Stadium.
The offense took a step forward from last week, eliminating all turnovers and made several big plays, including scoring passes of 56, 71 and 70 yards. All six quarterbacks saw action with four of them throwing at least one touchdown. Four different players also had at least one touchdown reception.
Defensively, MJ Stroud and CJ Allen Jr. both had sacks while both Tripp Bryant and Blake Ford were perfect on field goals inside of 60 yards.
The team will move into mock game week starting Tuesday and begin preparations in earnest for Charleston Southern.
The Eagles will host the Bucs on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m.
