STATESBORO - Georgia Southern men's tennis finished the 2024 Spring campaign with a No. 8 ranking in the ITA's Final Southeast Region rankings, released last week by the organization.
The Eagles, who earned the program's first end of year national rank of No. 66 in May, are also ranked No. 24 in the ITA's Mid Major rankings, released concurrently. The No. 8 ranking ties the 2013 squad that also ended the season ranked No. 8 in the Southeast Region, while the Mid Major ranking is also a first for the team.
Florida State is ranked No. 1 in the Southeast, with Florida, Central Florida, Georgia Tech and Georgia rounding out the top five. Florida Atlantic, Miami (FL), Georgia Southern, North Florida and Stetson round out the ten regionally-ranked squads.

Georgia Southern finished the 2024 Spring campaign with a 15-9 overall record, including a 7-1 mark in the Sun Belt Conference. The Eagles earned the first regular season conference title in program history and second overall conference title and advanced to the Sun Belt Conference tournament championship match.Â
