STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation has reached a milestone of 200 members in the Giving Societies, as announced Monday by Director of Athletics Jared Benko. Members of the Athletic Foundation's Giving Societies generously support Eagle Athletics at a significant level and have played a pivotal role in the overall growth of the athletic department and consecutive fundraising record years.

The Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation Giving Societies were established in February of 2021 and have quickly grown through the support of Eagle Nation. 

"We are humbled and excited to announce that we have now exceeded 200 members of our Athletic Foundation's Giving Societies," Benko said. "It is through our donors' generosity that we have been able to not only set three years of consecutive fundraising records but provide an elite student-athlete experience."
