Words From Coach Carter Collins:
"This was a really nice step forward this week for the team. For this team to step out of their comfort zone, compete in Hawaii in heavy winds against a large and loaded field was a great way to begin the spring. We beat quite a few highly ranked teams and that will help continue to grow our confidence.
"We had a great week competing in an incredible event and exploring the Kauai island of Hawaii. We are very grateful to Georgia Southern Athletics and our supporters for being able to make the trip for an incredible student-athlete experience.
"We have some things to clean up and improve on before our host event at The Ford next weekend but we are excited about the progress and trajectory of this team, excited for what's ahead - Hail Southern!!"
