Ptacek and Wheldon place inside of top-30
FAIRBURN, Ga. – The Georgia Southern Cross Country team competed at the Georgia Tech XC Invitational on Friday morning at Bouckaert Farm.
Two Eagles finished inside the top-30 as Isabel Ptacek led the way finishing 18th with a time of 22:56.90 followed by Emily Wheldon who finished 29th with a time of 23:18.81.
Yolanda Brooks clocked in with a time of 24:17.25 to finish 53rd, Julia Wilson finished 63rd running a time of 24:31.99, and Tristen Crosby placed 66th with a time of 24:37.91.
Ella Zierdt finished with a time of 24:43.04 and Katie Ranck finished with a time of 25:58.35.

The Eagles return to action hosting the GATA XC Invitational next Saturday, October 12.
