TROY, Ala. - The Georgia Southern men's tennis team dropped its second-straight conference match of the season to the Troy Trojans on Monday afternoon at Troy, 4-2.
Action began with the doubles matches, where Troy (15-6, 3-4 SBC) took the match at the No. 1 position by a score of 6-2. Alexandros Roumpis and Valentin Dun were able to take the match at the No. 2 position by a score of 6-2, pushing the doubles point to a winner-take-all at the No. 3 position. Troy was able to win the tie-breaker at the No. 3 position, 7-6 (7-5), to take the doubles point and move to 1-0 on the afternoon.
In singles, Troy quickly extended the lead to 2-0 with a win at the No. 2 position, but the Eagles (14-6, 3-3 SBC) fought back to get on the board with Pierre Mouesca's 6-2, 6-3 victory at the No. 3 position. Alexandros Roumpis tied the match up with a 6-4, 7-5 victory at the No. 6 position, but the Trojans took a three-set victory at the No. 1 position by a scoreof 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 6-2, to take a 3-2 lead. Troy would ultimately win the match with a 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 victory at the N0. 5 position, moving to 3-4 in SBC play while Georgia Southern fell to 3-3.

The Eagles end the regular season at home with two matches in two days, first against Southern Miss on Saturday, April 15, before hosting Senior Day against Louisiana on Sunday, April 16.
