Ben Carr Named Sun Belt Men's Golfer of the Week

The senior tied for second at the Colleton River Collegiate.
NEW ORLEANS – Georgia Southern's Ben Carr has been named the Sun Belt Men's Golfer of the Week in a vote by the league's head coaches, the conference announced today.
Carr tied for second at the Colleton River Collegiate after shooting a 10-under-par 206 (73-65-68) in leading Georgia Southern to its second team tournament title of the season. It marked the 12th top-five finish and 25th top-10 finish of his career, and the fifth-year senior is currently ranked No. 83 nationally by GolfStat.
The Eagles are playing in the Schenkel Invitational, their home tournament, this weekend at Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro.
