PREVIEW: Men's Tennis Takes on Charlotte in The Queen City

STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern men's tennis team will take on the Charlotte 49ers to conclude non-conference play on Saturday, March 11, with first serve set for 10 a.m. The previously scheduled match against Queens has been canceled.

CHARLOTTE OUTLOOK: The 49ers have started the season with a 4-7 mark and have fallen in the three previous matches to three nationally-ranked teams, including No. 62 Old Dominion, No. 22 Duke, and No. 72 Liberty. The 49ers are led by Coy Simon, who owns a 17-10 record on the season in singles.

CHARLOTTE SERIES: The Eagles and 49ers both have two wins against each other in the overall series, with the last meeting coming in 2018, where the 49ers defeated the Eagles 1-6 in Charlotte, NC.

UP NEXT
The Eagles will begin conference play with a road trip to Atlanta as the team faces Georgia State. First serve from Atlanta is set for 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 18.
